Only one messy, completely directionally-challenged youngest child here, attempting to travel across the entire world in the efforts of seeing something new and experiencing something grand. This blog will more than likely be a detailed documentation of the 100's of fuck-ups I will invariably face, but that is no different from how I live on this side of the world.
Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

Y’all, in a little over two months time, I will be embarking on my 20 hour journey form Alt, GA to Queenstown, NZ! I can’t fathom the experience that awaits for me on the other side of the planet, and to emotional process I look to you, kind blogging world, to help me emotionally and mental process my way through New Zealand’s fantastically disparate culture, compared to the one I’m presently experiencing in my hometown in GA and in SC, where my university exists.
I am 21 years old, and I have often been described as a mind traveller, meaning I am always somewhere else then where I stand. I am always trekking, or giving an interview, or revisiting my favorite movie scenes, or re-doing an awkward encounter I just had in world the exists in the boundless confines on my mind. It wasn’t until I went to college that I learned the importance of staying present. Now I work to acknowledge every moment as worth experiencing, every tree as worth admiring, every ladybug as worth interacting with, every conversation as worth contributing to. College also unlocked my love for the human psyche and why we think and act in such a uniquely human manner. I love understanding the depth of the world’s actions and reactions. This all being said. I think I will fit in nicely with the blogging universe that is all about, from my understanding, staying present in the moment and then quickly retreating to the internet to analyze that probably awkward or strange moment, for the whole world to then relate to that same encounter that is presently being duplicated all over the world. Let’s be human together and go on this most likely strange, at times gross, uncomfy, absolutely fantastic journey.
